The Advanced Topics Section of LawsonTech will be where most of the efforts for development of this site will be focused.

There are a ton of "advanced" things that can be done with the Lawson Software, but most people are unaware of them. Also when some problems arise it's usually a simple fix and as Lawson specialists we have to call Lawson to get an answer.

One example would be when you type "startlaw" and it says Lawson is already running then you type "stoplaw" and it tells that that Lawson is NOT running. This can be confusing. If you know the "ipcs" command and can check if there are any "hung" semophores or metaphores. You'll know that as root you can "un-hang" them by entering "ipcrm". Then Lawson will start up happily.
